England Women will take on Japan on Friday without Alex Greenwood and Lucy Bronze but the pair could feature against Norway on Tuesday.

Greenwood picked up a knock at the weekend but is remaining with the team as the issue is only minor.

Meanwhile Bronze has tested positive for COVID and will rejoin her team-mates when she has produced a negative test.

England are already without captain Leah Williamson, who is injured, and some less experienced faces will now line up in defence against Japan.

Established names Fran Kirby, Jordan Nobbs and Lauren Hemp have all already pulled out of the squad.
