Lucy Bronze is back in the FA Women’s Super League after re-joining Manchester City on Tuesday.
After three years and three Champions League titles with Lyon, Bronze is back at the club she last played for in England.
The right-back spent three seasons with City from 2015-17, winning the league title in 2016.
“I really enjoyed my time in France, but there were so many things that I missed and it’s great to be back,” said the 2018 and 2020 BBC Women’s Footballer of the Year.
“I feel like I’m returning as a better leader and person, who is capable of bringing similar success to the table here in England – both domestically with City and internationally too.
Bronze has signed a two-year contract and could make her second City debut against Brighton and Hove Albion on Sunday.
