Harry Kane could miss out on England's upcoming UEFA Nations League fixtures after suffering a blow in Bayern Munich's Bundesliga draw with Eintracht Frankfurt.

The Three Lions could be without their first-choice striker when they face Greece and Finland on Thursday and Sunday respectively and may be forced to look towards one of their other talented players up front.

The Bayern goalscorer was forced to leave the pitch during the second half of Sunday's clash after a collision that required treatment on his right leg. He was quickly replaced by Mathys Tel but remains a doubt for England.

"Harry Kane, who was substituted during the game, travelled directly from Frankfurt to the England camp, where he was examined by the FA's medical staff," a Bayern statement read. "A more precise diagnosis is still pending."

Anthony Gordon, Jack Grealish, Noni Madueke, Bukayo Saka, Dominic Solanke and Ollie Watkins have all been listed as forwards in Lee Carsley's latest squad, with the interim manager set to return for another dose of international fixtures.

Carsley may also have to rethink his options deeper in the squad, with both Ezri Konsa and Morgan Gibbs-White expected to miss the next two England fixtures.

The Aston Villa defender suffered a hamstring injury during his side's 0-0 draw with Manchester United on Sunday after facing a challenge from Rasmus Hojlund. Manager Unai Emery explained after the game that Konsa's injury would need to be assessed, but admitted that the international break should serve as some time to rest.

United's Harry Maguire, who did not earn a spot in Carsley's squad after being dropped for Konsa, also left the pitch early on Sunday and was later seen wearing a protective boot on his way out of Villa Park.

Meanwhile, Gibbs-White was removed from Nottingham Forest's draw with Chelsea due to an ankle injury that came from his attempt to strike the ball.

England are set to host Greece at Wembley on Thursday before travelling to face Finland.
