End of season parade: All you need to know | OneFootball

Following the Club’s historic achievement of winning four Premier League titles in a row, an open-top bus parade will be held in Manchester city centre today, Sunday 26 May.

With a number of events being held across the city on Sunday, including the AJ Bell Great Manchester Run, the parade will start later than previous seasons.

Pep Guardiola and the squad will depart from Cathedral Gardens by the National Football Museum at 7:30pm before travelling through Exchange Square and down Deansgate with the parade due to finish outside the Hilton Hotel at around 9pm.

There will be large screens and stage shows with a mix of interviews, musical performances and exciting activities at the start (Cathedral Gardens) and the end (Hilton Hotel). The parade’s presenters, Natalie Pike and FG, will host the event directly from the busses.

Entry to these areas will open at around 6pm. Please note, there will be a bag policy at each stage entrance with only small handheld bags, no larger than A4 size (12”x8”x3”), accepted.

There will also be large screens located throughout

Deansgate on Black Friars Street and outside House of Fraser, so fans in this area can keep up with the action while they wait for the busses to pass them by.

We wish to remind all fans that they all have a responsibility to act as ambassadors of not only Manchester City, but also the City of Manchester, and should treat the area, and all those in attendance, with respect.

TICKETED ACCESSIBLE VIEWING AREAS

There will be ticketed accessible viewing areas at the National Football Museum and the Hilton Deansgate, where fans can enjoy the parade and shows.

A further accessible viewing area will be located outside House of Fraser on Deansgate, well positioned to watch the parade pass by and with a large screen to keep up with the action.

The House of Fraser area should be a bit quieter, without a stage show or pyrotechnics, and may be more suitable for people who are sensitive to loud noises and large crowds.

Following feedback from fans, the accessible viewing areas will only be accessible to those with a pre-booked ticket, which can be redeemed for free on the Club’s website here.

The change has been made to allow disabled fans to have the ability to plan better and avoid waiting around for unnecessary time.

There will be a limited number of tickets available, and these will be issued on a first come first served basis, to fans with disabilities and access requirements.
