Empoli’s Kristjan Asllani Is Favourite To Become Backup To Marcelo Brozovic At Inter, Italian Media Report | OneFootball

Empoli midfielder Kristjan Asllani is the favourite to be signed by Inter as the backup for Marcelo Brozovic next season, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport today, Inter are desperate to find a player that can fill in for Marcelo Brozovic over the course of the season when the Croatian needs a rest or is injured.

It was one of the main problems for Simone Inzaghi during this season. Inter have settled on Albanian midfielder Kristjan Asllani as the man to end that issue for the Nerazzurri.

For a while it seemed Davide Frattesi from Sassuolo would be the ideal signing but that will prove financially tough.

Inter will aim to make money to fund the transfer this summer by selling Michele Di Gregorio, Andrei Radu, Lucien Agoume and possibly Martin Satriano who is valued by Inter at €20 million.
