Empoli manager Davide Nicola discussed tomorrow’s showdown with Roma at the Castellandi Stadium in Tuscany.

The Italian coach attended today’s pre-match press conference and spoke about the importance of this match given the tight battle with Udinese to avoid relegation.

“Tomorrow we will need all the support we can get from the fans,” said Nicola. “This is exactly the type of match we do this work for.”

“We know we are facing a very strong team with lots of quality and which has done an extraordinary job with De Rossi at the helm.”

“We must be aware that our will and determination can bridge any gap in quality, we know that it is hard, but that this is what gives value to everything. We will be ready to battle,” said Nicola.
