Inter-owned striker Andrea Pinamonti has been making a positive impression in the first month of his loan at newly-promoted side Empoli.

This according to the Tuscan side’s coach Aurelio Andreazzoli, speaking in a press conference ahead of his side’s match against Bologna tomorrow as reported by FCInterNews, who praised the 22-year-old’s qualities and stated that he is pleased with how the striker has been getting along in his squad.

Pinamonti was widely expected to depart from the Giuseppe Meazza on loan over the summer having been out of favour last season, and in the end it was Empoli who beat out a number of other interested clubs to his signature.

The 22-year-old did not score in the Tuscans’ last game, but he did show his qualities in helping his team to dig in and earn a 2-0 win away at Cagliari, helping the team hold the ball out and counter-attack the Rossoblu.

Andreazzoli praised Pinamonti for his work ethic and the consistency which he brings to the team as they look to remain in the top flight.

“He is a boy with a great attitude,” the coach said, “he was good to play even one against two. We are happy for him because he had the opportunity to express himself.”
