At last. Poland legend Robert Lewandowski has his World Cup goal.
After five games, 15 shots and over 400 minutes without finding the net at the most prestigious competition in the world, he finally got there.
He may have thought the moment wouldn’t come after missing from the penalty spot against Mexico last time out but capitalised on a huge defensive error to get his goal late against Saudi Arabia.
The goal was also the 77th of his international career, an amount which sees him move level with Pelé for goals for his country and was his second goal involvement of the game, having provided an assist for Piotr Zielinski earlier.
And it was clear how much it meant to him, with the Barcelona man brought to tears in celebration.

What a moment.
