Emily Fox to debut new custom Under Armour boots in Arsenal vs Chelsea clash | OneFootball

Under Armour has dropped its latest player exclusive with a special design for Arsenal and USWNT star Emily Fox. Taking inspiration from her surname, the custom Shadow Elite football boots feature a blend of vibrant orange and deep red, designed in collaboration with Fox herself.

The Olympic gold medallist will debut her bespoke boots this weekend when Arsenal take on Chelsea in the Women’s Super League. The two English powerhouses will lock horns in a blockbuster showdown at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday, October 12th.

Shadow Elite marked a breakthrough in football footwear for Under Armour. The boots are designed to maximise speed and agility, allowing athletes to change direction at the drop of a pin. Along with the colours splashed across the exterior, this Shadow Elite design features an eye-catching stud palette not usually associated with typical boots. The reason behind the popping pastels is that Fox’s grandmother says it’s easier to spot her on the pitch when she wears unique and bright colours.

Fox first announced her partnership with Under Armour in 2022. She joins the growing pool of elite UA athletes, including two-time Women’s World Cup winner Kelley O’Hara and Aston Villa star Anna Patten. The latter recently featured in the launch of the ‘Feel Unstoppable’ campaign, featuring the 2024 Fall/Winter Unstoppable collection.
