Emily Cassidy: It is exciting to be back | OneFootball

Leeds United Women secured their fifth summer signing for the 2025/26 campaign with Emily Cassidy rejoining the group.

The centre-half has featured for Bradford City, Middlesbrough and York City, as well as appearing for the Whites for a two-year period between 2018 and 2020.

Emily has linked up with the rest of the squad and is excited about playing for Simon Wood’s side.

“It is exciting to be back, especially with the way the club is moving forward. It’s exciting to be a part of again,” she explained.

“I can’t wait for this weekend’s game. It will be a tough game because Chester-le-Street are very strong but I am looking forward to it and hopefully we will get the three points.

“I am really excited about playing in front of the Leeds fans again. They have always had a strong fanbase so I am excited to see them get behind us this season.”
