Football.London report that Smith Rowe is attracting interest from clubs in the Premier League and across Europe. The midfielder recently made his Premier League debut and first league start in England, but Dani Ceballos’ return is likely to limit his game time.

As a result, Arsenal and Smith Rowe himself want him to get a loan move. Ideally, guaranteeing around 15 to 20 appearances before the end of the season.

RB Leipzig would consider bringing the teenager back, but Smith Rowe would prefer to remain in England.

Arsenal need a bit of a salvage job in the second half of the season, so it’s not really the best time to be a youth player breaking into senior football. The pressure is greater than usual, the system needs work and Smith Rowe needs to play regularly.

The academy star had trouble with a few injuries in 2019. He’ll certainly struggle to get over them only playing once in a while. He needs regular football to develop, adapt to the senior game and stay fit.
