Eliesse Ben Seghir is on the verge of leaving AS Monaco this summer, with German Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen emerging as his next destination.

According to information from journalist Florian Plettenberg, the Moroccan international left winger has reached a verbal agreement with Bayer Leverkusen. All personal terms have been settled and approved by both parties.

The same report indicates that Leverkusen is now engaged in advanced discussions with AS Monaco to finalize the transfer. The deal is progressing smoothly and is expected to be completed soon.

The 20-year-old attacker remains under contract with the Principality club until June 2027. Valued at an estimated €28 million by the specialized platform Transfermarkt, the player currently earns an annual salary of €600,000.
