Luis Enrique, Gianluigi Donnarumma, Warren Zaïre-Emery, Ousmane Dembélé, Kylian Mbappé, Katarzyna Kiedrzynek, Sakina Karchaoui, Thiniba Samoura, Korbin Albert, Grace Geyoro and Tabitha Chawinga are in the running in the various categories of the 2023-2024 edition of the UNFP awards, with the ceremony taking place on Monday 13th May at 9:05pm.

Capital club coach Luis Enrique has been rewarded for his fine first season in France, and has therefore been nominated in the best coach of the season category. The Spaniard will attempt to follow in the footsteps of Carlo Ancelotti (2013), Laurent Blanc (2015, 2016) and his compatriot Unai Emery (2019) to become the third coach to be crowned while at Paris Saint-Germain.

Winner in 2019, 2021, 2022 and 2023, Kylian Mbappé will be trying to retain his trophy as best player and achieve an unprecedented quintuple (the 2020 ceremony was cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic). The capital club's No7 will be in particular competition with his club team-mate Ousmane Dembélé, who was voted best young player in 2016 while playing for Stade Rennais FC, and who is nominated for the first time in his career in the category.

The two Rouge et Bleus will be looking to follow in the footsteps of David Ginola (1994), Vincent Guérin (1995), Marco Simone (1998), Zlatan Ibrahimovic (2013, 2014 and 2016), Edinson Cavani (2017), Neymar Jr (2018), and the capital club's No7, to claim a 13th trophy for a Paris Saint-Germain player.

Voted best goalkeeper in Ligue 1 for the 2021-2022 season, Gianluigi Donnarumma, who received his invitation from Cédric Cambon and Régis Garrault, Director of Partnerships and Events at the UNFP, will be trying to reclaim his trophy, which was won by RC Lens' keeper Brice Samba last season. Before him, only his compatriot Salvatore Sirigu (2013, 2014) and team-mate Keylor Navas (2021) had managed to win the trophy while playing for Paris Saint-Germain.

Warren Zaïre-Emery, competing in the best young player category for the first time in his career, will be looking to follow in the footsteps of his team-mate Nuno Mendes, who won the award last season. Before whom Mamadou Sakho (2011), Marco Verratti (2014) and Kylian Mbappé (2018, 2019) had all won the award as players of the capital club.

In the Paris Saint-Germain women's team, Sakina Karchaoui, Grace Geyoro (in contention for the fourth season running) and Tabitha Chawinga (who has already won the D1 player of the season award) are in the running for the best player award and to become the 4th player to be crowned in Rouge et Bleu after Élise Bussaglia (2011), Kadidiatou Diani (2021) and Marie-Antoinette Katoto (2022).

Katarzyna Kiedrzynek, for her part, will be looking to claim the trophy for best goalkeeper in the French league, and succeed her former team-mate Christiane Endler (2021), the only player to have won the award with the club from the capital. Thiniba Samoura and Korbin Albert, meanwhile, will be looking to extend their run of five consecutive victories in the best young player category, and succeed Marie-Antoinette Katoto (2018, 2019), Sandy Baltimore (2021) and Laurina Fazer (2022, 2023).
