Uruguayan international Edinson Cavani is now a Manchester United player. The 33-year-old has joined the club on a one-year contract with the option to extend by a further year.
A vastly experienced player, Cavani has plundered in 341 goals at the club level since moving to Europe in 2007.
He has had stints at Palermo, Napoli, and PSG. He won the Serie A and the Ligue 1 golden boots at the latter two clubs respectively.
The veteran ace was a free agent after his contract at PSG expired earlier this summer. He scored an incredible 200 goals for their French giants and is their all-time top goalscorer.
United will do well with some of that mean streak this season. While the 33-year-old is not a long-term option but he will add quality and goals to a young team.
