Valencia are interested in taking another fringe player off AC Milan’s books as they are keen on Tiemoue Bakayoko, according to a report.

After Samu Castillejo joined the LaLiga side yesterday on a permanent deal, El Desmarque (via PianetaMilan) claims that Bakayoko is in their sights. He played just 607 minutes in all competitions spread over 18 appearances last season and is not a part of Stefano Pioli’s plans.

Valencia head coach Gennaro Gattuso is a big admirer of Bakayoko, who he has already had the opportunity to coach on two different occasions, the first time being the 2018-19 season at Milan and then the second occasion was in 2020-21 at Napoli.

Bakayoko is technically on loan to Milan from Chelsea until 30 June 2023 and there is also the interest of Olympique Marseille, so whomever wants him would have to take over the existing agreement between the Rossoneri and the Blues.
