El Clásico between Real Madrid and Barcelona scheduled for March 1

The next El Clásico between Real Madrid and Barcelona has been confirmed for the Bernabeu on Sunday, March 1, with a 9pm (local time) start.

The last league clash between the sides back on December 18 was a 0-0 draw at the Nou Camp.

That fixture has been originally been scheduled for October 26, but had to be put back due to simmering political tensions in Catalonia at the time.

Real are currently top of La Liga, three points ahead of La Blaugrana.

Both sides will be in action on Sunday.

Los Blancos are travelling to Osasuna, while Barça entertain manager Quique Setién’s former club Real Betis.
