According to L’Équipe, RMC Sport and Foot Mercato, Paris Saint-Germain and Eintracht Frankfurt have reached an agreement to loan Hugo Ekitiké (21).

Ekitiké has been ostracised from the first-team picture at PSG ever since he refused to be a part of the deal that brought Randal Kolo Muani to the Parc des Princes on the last transfer deadline day.

Ekitiké set for Frankfurt medical

His refusal to move to Eintracht Frankfurt at such short notice has meant that he hasn’t featured for PSG since the opening day of the Ligue 1 season.

PSG had been looking to offload the former Stade de Reims striker this January, however, it has taken until deadline day for an agreement to be reached. Ekitiké will indeed join Frankfrut, just months after rejecting a move to the Bundesliga side. He will join on a loan deal that will include the option to make the move permanent at the end of the season. The Frenchman, whose contract with PSG runs until 2027, will fly to Germany in the coming hours in order to undergo his medical.
