Sport Bild reports that Eintracht Frankfurt believes that Djurgården IF midfield Lucas Bergvall could bring in around €100m in the future as they step up their pursuit of the 17-year-old.
Frankfurt are stepping up their pursuit of Bergvall as he continues to be linked with the likes of Manchester United and Barcelona. The club have already laid out a plan for Bergvall and his family about moving to Frankfurt and how his development at the club would work.
Die Adler believes that if Bergvall moves to the club and can reach his potential then he could eventually be valued at around €100m in the future. Frankfurt have shown in the past that they can help players reach their potential then selling them on for large fees, such as Randal Kolo Muani, Luka Jovic, Sebastien Haller and Jesper Lindstrøm.
A decision on the 17-year-old’s future is expected to be made before the beginning of the Swedish league season in March. Frankfurt have already made an offer worth €8.5m for Bergvall but it is possible that Djurgården could demand more than double that.
