Eight madridistas shortlisted for FIFA FIFPro Men’s World11 2020

The list of 55 nominees for the FIFA FIFPro Men’s World11 2020 has been announced, with eight Real Madrid players making a shortlist drawn up on the basis of the votes cast by thousands of professional male football players from all over the world. The team of the year will be announced at The Best FIFA Football Awards show, to be held online in Zurich on Thursday 17 December.

Courtois is amongst the 10 goalkeepers in the running, whilst Sergio Ramos, Marcelo and Raphaël Varane feature amongst the defensive hopefuls. Meanwhile, Toni Kroos, Luka Modrić and Casemiro have ranked amongst the 15 top midfielders, whilst Benzema is one of the 15 most-voted forwards.
