Blackpool defeated rivals Preston North End in the Lancashire Derby by a scoreline of 2-0 in the EFL Championship. Keshi Anderson opened the scoring for the home team and Gary Madine secured all three points for Blackpool.

Blackpool made two changes to the starting lineup. Gary Madine and Josh Bowler replaced Sonny Carey and Demetri Mitchell.

Blackpool have now won back-to-back games in the EFL Championship. This win takes them to the 11th position and the Tangerines have 21 points in 14 games. Preston North End are in the 19th position with 15 points.
