Nottingham Forest’s Starting XI (3-4-1-2): Brice Samba, Scott McKenna, Tobias Figueiredo, Joe Worral, Max Lowe, James Garner, Ryan Yates, Djed Spence, Zinckernagel, Lewis Grabban, Brennan Johnson. The average positions of the Forest players show that they were the more attacking team in the match, with their players’ position mostly being in the opposition half.

Bristol City had a decent game in which they created an xG of 1.60 in the match, with a total of eight shots and just two on target. They only had 32% possession and were able to score one goal. The visitors, Forest, had a much higher xG of 2.69, with a total of 14 shots five on target and two goals.

This was a very interesting game between the two clubs, as Lyle Taylor had the highest individual xG of 1.94. Many players took multiply shots, while Joe Worrall had the highest passes into the final third.

The shot map for the home side shows that they took almost took all shots from inside the box and were also able to score once. They hit the target a total of four times. The visitors shot map shows that they took shots from both inside and outside of the penalty area. One goal game from near the penalty spot, while the other from inside the six-yard box.

The xG timeline also shows a similar story to the match. There were only a few passes recorded for Bristol City in this match. Matty James had the highest attempted passes in the match with 37, while Andreas Weimann received the most with 26. Nottingham Forest had a lot of passes recorded in their match. There were only a few aerial duels contested in the match, with Chris Martin winning three, the highest among Bristol players.

A lot of loose ball duels have been contested all over the pitch, with Matty James winning the most, making five loose ball recoveries. Nottingham Forest contested a few defensive duels in defence and midfield. Most of their payers were able to win one or two each.

There were only a few aerial duels contested in the match by both teams. Forest players Spence, Worrall and Figueiredo all won three aerial balls each.

There were a lot of Loose  Ball Duels contested in the match all over the football pitch. Joe Worrall won three loose balls from his team, while Grabban also made three loose ball recoveries up front.
