If Wayne Rooney was to cherry-pick his first game as permanent Derby boss, then at home to Rotherham would have been fairly high on the list.
The Rams have been in superb form since Rooney was placed in temporary charge following Philip Cocuâs sacking in November.
This though, on Saturday, was the former Manchester United manâs first proper test as the Derby boss.
And to be honest, it couldnât have gone much worse.
Rotherham were equal in almost every measure to their Midlands hosts and scored a late winner thanks to the brilliance of Jamie Lindsay.
The result takes the Millers up to 22nd, level on points with Derby and are looking upwards with two games in hand.
Honourable mentions
Nottingham Forest put in arguably their best performance of the campaign this weekend as they beat Millwall 3-1 at the City Ground.
Chris Houghtonâs side look like they have finally clicked into gear with Sammy Ameobi back amongst the goals.
Itâs taken a while for Lee Johnson to settle into his new role as Sunderland boss, but this weekend looked like the green shoots of progress were starting to bloom.

The Black Cats went to south London and thoroughly outplayed AFC Wimbledon in a comprehensive 3-0 win, Charlie Wyke scoring his first hat trick for the club.
