But do you know what’s really cool?

Eight goals.

Because that’s what AFC Wimbledon and Plymouth offered up on Saturday afternoon, playing out a brilliant 4-4 draw.

Both sides were full of attacking verve and each had over 20 shots in the 90 minutes.

And then there was this, from Conor Grant – two weeks in and we’ve already got a Goal of the Season contender.

Honourable mentions

Coventry made their long-awaited return to the Championship over the summer and claimed their first win of the campaign at home to QPR on Friday evening.

Coming back from a goal down and then netting a late winner shows just what Mark Robins has built in the east Midlands.

Wes Hoolahan has been a revelation so far this season, becoming Cambridge’s leader on the pitch and guiding Colin Calderwood’s side to the top of the table with two wins out of two.

The former Republic of Ireland international was superb again over the weekend as Cambridge beat Morecambe 5-0.
