Jude Bellingham (20) has hit the ground running since making the move to Real Madrid last summer. The Englishman has become a prolific goalscorer at the Bernabeu, scoring 20 goals in his first 32 games for Los Blancos. He has surprised some of his teammates, notably French duo Eduardo Camavinga and Aurélien Tchouaméni, as they told Téléfoot.

I was surprised at the start,” admitted Tchouaméni. “But I’m not anymore. His stature is incredible, exceptional and he will continue to grow and grow,” added the Les Bleus midfielder.

Another French midfielder, Camavinga, has also been surprised by the former Borussia Dortmund midfielder. “I didn’t think Jude would score so many goals! He has shocked me, he really has an attacker’s instinct. He is always in the right place at the right time and that has shocked me,” said the former Stade Rennais man.

‘I am a big fan of Bellingham’ – Zidane

Speaking in a deep-dive into Bellingham’s first months at Real Madrid, Zinédine Zidane also expressed his admiration for the England international. “Bellingham is an incredible player. You could imagine what he was capable of, but he has surpassed all of that. I am a big fan of his and I hope that he can lift some trophies,” he said.

Bellingham has quickly won over everyone at Real Madrid, including their fans, but also the French contingent of Los Blancos, both past and present. First in La Liga and set to secure the league title, Real Madrid face reigning UEFA Champions League champions Manchester City in the quarter-final of this year’s edition later this week.
