Former Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga is excited to be a Real Madrid player.

Camavinga's official presentation was held yesterday.

"I feel very pleased, very happy at Real Madrid. You think about the problems you've had and today I feel very happy," he said.

Camavinga was questioned as to what his best position is, with the midfielder revealing that he likes to play in front of the defence.

"I get asked this a lot, but I like to play in front of the defence and I can adapt to many positions," Camavinga noted.

Karim Benzema will likely act as an older brother in the dressing room for Camavinga, who pointed to the striker's relationship with Vinicius Junior.

"Benzema is an idol for all French people and a player who is very much involved with the youngsters, we've seen that with Vinicius," he commented.

"My Spanish... I speak a little."

There has been talk that Camavinga could make his Real Madrid debut as early as this Sunday, when Los Blancos face Celta Vigo at the Bernabeu, and he confirmed that he is ready to play right away.

"Yes, I'm ready to play right now," he said.
