Celtic Player Ratings Vs Hamilton Academical

Scott Bain – 6.5

The 28-year-old wasn’t called into action on too many instances during the tie, but he made a decent save to keep Hamilton out in the first half. Helpless about the Jullien own-goal though.

Jeremie Frimpong – 8.5

The speedster put in a quite phenomenal display down the right flank as he bombarded forward and overlapped the winger on every instance. Made a lung-busting run before scoring one himself.

Christopher Jullien – 7.5

The big defender put in a solid shift in the heart of the defence, but his match was filled with incidents. Hit the post with a delicious volley before conceding an unfortunate own-goal.

Kristoffer Ajer – 7

The Dane was fairly dominant in the air against the Hamilton attackers, but he needs to get more tight to his man when tracking back. Made a couple of decent blocks and maintained possession well.

Greg Taylor – 8

Like his full-back partner, the speedster tried to get forward on every opportunity, but he ensured that he performed his defensive duties as well. Set up both the Celts’ first-half goals as well.
