The Leeds v Chelsea game had just settled into a calm pattern midway through the first half at Elland Road before the Blues goalkeeper gifted the hosts the lead with a shocking error.

After receiving a pass back from a defender, Mendy hesitated with the ball which allowed Brenden Aaronson to nick in and tackle him, leaving an empty net for the American to tap home.
It will not make for a pleasant watch back for the Senegalese international.
