Edinson Cavani: “I do not see things in England that are better than in France.”

Speaking in an interview with ESPN Brazil, Edinson Cavani was asked to compare French football and English football.

“I think one of the things that I have always said about football, is that all leagues have different characteristics, and that does not make on league inferior to another. Don’t forget that one of the last Champions’ League finalists was a French team. So, for me, this is football, no matter where you play, no matter against who you play… For me, it is a competition, with different characteristics. I do not see things in England that are better than in France, or in Portugal. No, because you can play against a Portuguese team and lose. Then, you can play against an English team and win.”
