Edinson Cavani will leave Paris Saint-Germain when his contract ends next year and has agreed to join Inter Miami.
That’s according to a story in Gazzetta dello Sport which claims that the Uruguay international has his heart set on a switch to MLS, having been persuaded by David Beckham to join his expansion side.
The 32-year-old has spent the past six years at the Parc des Princes and become a fixture in their attack, most recently aloongside Neymar and Kylian Mbappé.
But it looks as if the former Napoli man will be leaving PSG with the Italian sports daily confirming that a deal between Cavani and Inter Miami is already in place.
Although they don’t join Major Leagu Soccer for another year, Miami have already been hard at work getting a squad together.
Last week they confirmed the signings of teenage duo Matias Pellegrini and Julian Carranza.
