Borussia Mönchengladbach and Borussia Dortmund went head to head in one of the Bundesliga’s most thrilling matches this season.
In a tight title race, both clubs were looking for a positive result and it was the hosts who managed to claim all three points with a 4-2 win.
After the match, Dortmund manager Edin Terzić tore into his side’s poor defensive performance.
“We had too many setbacks to cope with over the course of the game,” said Terzić.
“We were bitterly disappointed with easy and stupid goals that set us back.”
On a positive note, the manager remained pleased with his side’s attacking performance and their “beautiful goals.”
That being said, he doesn’t remain naive about the result.
“In the end, when you concede four goals, it is very hard to take a point home, let alone win,” continued Terzić.
“In the end, it’s the third game that we let slip away … this is very disappointing.”
Dortmund now sit fifth in the Bundesliga table with 29 points and Gladbach sit just above them with 31.
