Inter duo Edin Dzeko and Hakan Calhanoglu have been criticised for their disappointing performances against Real Madrid in the Champions League on Wednesday night, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by La Repubblica in their report cards for the 1-0 defeat, both Hakan Calhanoglu and Edin Dzeko were only worthy of a 5 out of 10 rating due to the fact Inter failed to score despite having plenty of opportunities.

Edin Dzeko had at least two very good chances in the first half to put Inter ahead but failed to find that lethal touch that is needed in this competition.

Hakan Calhanoglu showed why many AC Milan fans criticised him for inconsistent performances whilst he was with the Rossoneri. He had very little effect on the game despite making such a strong start to his Inter career.

Milan Skriniar and Marcelo Brozovic received the highest ratings.
