The Brazilian’s previous terms were due to expire in 2025 but his new deal is set to keep him at the club until the summer of 2026.
He follows Kevin De Bruyne, Rúben Dias, John Stones and Fernandinho in penning extensions in recent months.
“This was an easy decision for me because there’s nowhere else I want to be,” he told the club’s official website.
“To be part of one of the best squads in world football and compete for trophies every year is what all footballers want.
“That’s the opportunity you get at City and I’m confident we can continue bringing more success to the club.”
Ederson has made 195 appearances since arriving in 2017 and kept 94 clean sheets for the Cityzens.
