Eden Hazard 'paying no attention to criticism' at Real Madrid

Real Madrid forward Eden Hazard insists he is ‘paying no attention to criticism’ despite a mixed start at the club.

Hazard joined Los Blancos this summer after years of speculation, scoring just once after missing one month with a hamstring injury.

But the Belgium international is only focused on improving – not on the noise around him.

“No, I have not had any tough weeks in Madrid,” he told Belgian newspaper La Dernière.

“I know that a lot of people talk about Real Madrid everywhere and that’s why I’m here.

“But I still don’t speak Spanish, so I don’t pay attention to criticism!”

Real Madrid return to domestic action against Mallorca on October 19.
