Real Madrid host Sevilla this evening in a titanic in La Liga. Following Barcelona’s draw with Atletico Madrid yesterday, Madrid have a chance to take the title race in their hands while Sevilla have a chance to pull themselves back into it.

Atletico are top of the table at the moment, with 77 points from 35 games. Barcelona are second, with 75 from 35, while Madrid are third, with 74 from 34. Sevilla are fourth, with 70 from 34.

There was a couple of surprising omissions from both coaches. Zinedine Zidane chose to leave out Eden Hazard following his controversial week, while Julen Lopetegui elected to start without a recognised striker and instead go with a fluid front three of Lucas Ocampos, Suso and Papu Gomez.

Madrid will be hoping to rally from their humbling at the hands of Chelsea in the Champions League, while Sevilla will be looking to bounce back from defeat to Athletic Bilbao. After tonight’s game, Madrid have Granada, Athletic and Villarreal lined up to close out the season. Sevilla have Valencia, Villarreal and Alaves.
