Eden Hazard admits he is enjoying watching Chelsea “have a party” as Frank Lampard continues to impress as manager.
Despite being handed a two-window transfer ban and losing 4-0 to Manchester United on the opening day, Chelsea currently sit third in the Premier League after 12 games.
And Hazard – who left Stamford Bridge after seven successful years this summer – insists he is ‘happy’ for his former club.
“When I watch them, there is no Hazard but it is a party,” he told Sky Sports.
“They can score a lot of goals, the fans are happy, they are third in the league, it’s going to be a great season.
“We all know Willian, Jorginho they are very good. Also with the young players coming through, it is great to see the club high and I hope they can stay there.”
When asked if he would like to have played under Lampard, Hazard replied: “Yeah, of course.”
What do you say, Chelsea fans? Forgive and forget?
