The Premier League season continues with four fixtures on Sunday.
Here’s what happened on yet ANOTHER mad day in the English top division.
Scorers: Bowen 17′ 57′, Soucek 66′, Haller 90′
West Ham got off to a complete flyer with a brilliant Jarrod Bowen goal opening the scoring after only 17 minutes.
The Hammers were impressing on the break with Antonio and Bowen causing the Wolves defence a lot of problems.
But the away side had their own chances and really should have done better only for Raul Jimenez to blaze over the bar.
And they were made to pay for that profligacy as Bowen scored his second of the game after tapping in a rebound from six yards.
The capital club weren’t done there though, and soon made it three when Tomas Souček headed in at the near post past Rui Patricio.
And they completed the rout late on with Sebastien Haller’s piledriver.
Scorers: Mahrez 4′, Ake 84′; Vardy 37′ (PEN) 54′ 58′ (PEN), Maddison 76′, Tielemans 87′ (PEN)
Manchester City got off to the perfect start as Riyad Mahrez rifled in a superb opener after only four minutes.
But that was cancelled out midway through the half when Jamie Vardy fired in a penalty after being fouled by Kyle Walker inside the area.
After the break, Vardy quickly completed his hat-trick – a second after making a glorious near post run and finish and the third, once again, from the penalty spot.
And a bad day for the home side got even worse late on as James Maddison made it 4-1 after a brilliant curling effort beat Ederson.
Nathan Aké scored his first for the club when he headed in from a corner, but the scoring wasn’t done there as Leicester got their third – third!- penalty of the game which Youri Tielemans converted.
Scorers: Moura 25′; Wilson 90+7′
Spurs would have taken an early lead in this one were it not for the excellence of Newcastle goalkeeper Karl Darlow.
But they did go in front in the 25th minute, when Harry Kane’s low cross was turned in at the back post by Lucas Moura.
It was almost 2-0 a few minutes later when a great effort from Son Heung-min hit the foot of the post.
And Son rattled the woodwork again five minutes before half-time when his long range strike came back off the post.
The match looked to be heading towards a 1-0 win for Spurs until in stoppage time, Newcastle were awarded a penalty for an Eric Dier handball.
Callum Wilson converted from 12-yards to snatch a point for the Magpies.
Scorers: Bamford 88′
There was late drama in the Yorkshire Derby as Leeds netted late to beat Sheffield United 1-0 at Brammall Lane.
Chances were limited for both sides, but Illan Meslier saved brilliantly from John Lundstram early on, before Aaron Ramsdale got fingertips to an improvised Stuart Dallas strike.
With the Blades pushing for a winner, defender Jack Robinson somehow missed from close range after escaping his marker from a corner.
They would come to rue that opportunity with just minutes remaining, after Patrick Bamford continued his impressive start to the season by heading home a pinpoint Jack Harrison cross.
