Dybala to return in late August | OneFootball

Paulo Dybala is scheduled to undergo season-ending surgery today.

The Argentine is London where he will be operated on by Dr. Andy Williams at the Fortius Clinic.

Dybala left Ciampino yesterday morning, accompanied by his wife Oriana, agent Jorge Antun and Roma doctor Emanuele Gregorace.

He will stay in the English capital for 3-4 days, then return to Rome.

The first step will be a period of at least ten days of complete rest, followed by a rehabilitation program aimed at reactivating the tendon and surrounding muscles.

The gradual increase in workload, writes La Gazzetta dello Sport, cannot take place before two or three months, and his return to the field is scheduled for the end of August.

During his rehabilitation, Dybala will still be close to the team: he will follow training at Trigoria and attend matches to stay mentally involved and best prepare for his return.
