Juventus and Inter were made to share the spoils after their 1-1 draw at San Siro on Sunday.
A first half strike from Edin Džeko was cancelled out by Paulo Dybala’s late penalty.
Scorers: Džeko 17′; Dybala (pen) 89′
After an even start, Inter broke the deadlock through Edin Džeko who reacted quickest after Hakan Çalhanoglu’s long range effort smacked off the crossbar.
The Bianconeri did respond, however, and despite struggling to create any clear opportunities found themselves threatening through Alex Sandro and Dejan Kulusevski.
Džeko had a brilliant chance to double his and Inter’s tally after half time but uncharacteristically headed wide with goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny stranded.
But with minutes remaining, Denzel Dumfries was judged to have fouled Alex Sandro in the penalty following VAR review, with Paulo Dybala scoring and securing a valuable point for the visitors.
