RomaPress – Roma manager Ivan Juric will have to deal with two major absences when his side faces off against Monza.
In search of their third consecutive league win, the Giallorossi will be without veteran duo Paulo Dybala and Mats Hummels on Sunday evening.
Club sources confirmed to RomaPress that the Argentine attacker suffered a muscle injury during the team’s final training session and will also miss-out on Argentina’s upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Venezuela and Bolivia.
Hummels, meanwhile, is dealing with flu-like symptoms, including a fever, and won’t make the trip to Lombardia.
In other squad news, Nicola Zalewski has been called up for Sunday’s match—officially ending his weekslong dispute with the club after his proposed transfer move to Galatasaray collapsed.
In fact, the Poland international and his agent, Giampiero Pocetta, are nearing an agreement to extend his contract with the capital club.
