Paulo Dybala and Matias Soulé were undoubtedly the protagonists of today’s 4-0 win over Barnsley in Roma’s first friendly in England.
After Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Olympiacos, the Giallorossi won and, above all, had fun thanks to the magic of Dybala and Soulé.
The two Argentinians got along wonderfully and scored in the second half, this being Soulé’s first goal as a Roma player.
Le Fée and Pisilli also scored. The Frenchman was among the best today and found the goal that broke the deadlock. Always precise in his insertions and good at verticalizing.
Abraham’s performance, on the other hand, was negative once again. The ex-Chelsea man was practically non-existent and never posed any threat to the opponent.
Meanwhile, De Rossi used the 4-3-3 with Paulo again as a false 9 and had Dahl and Celik push up the wing with a heavy reliance on Le Fée who could soon take over Bryan Cristante’s spot in Roma’s starting line-up.
