The club has officially announced the departure of Head Coach Dwight Yorke and assistant Russell Latapy.
In a media release, the club stated the following.
“The club and Yorke reached an agreement on Saturdays to terminate the remainder of his contract, allowing Yorke to pursue other opportunities”.
“I would like to thank Dwight Yorke and his assistant Russell Latapy for their contribution towards our club and, in particular, Dwight leading Macarthur to our first silverware with our 2022 Australia Cup triumph,” Macarthur FC CEO Gino Marra said.Yorke thanked the club for providing him with his first position as a professional head coach.“I want to thank the chairman Gino Marra, CEO Sam Krslovic, all the ownership group as well as all the staff, fans of Macarthur FC,” Yorke said.“I leave the football club with a great team that will continue to challenge for more silverware”.
Manchester United legend and Macarthur FC Head Coach Dwight Yorke has reportedly “parted ways” with the A-League Men expansion club, per Network Ten commentator Andy Harper.
Following the completion of the Western United vs Sydney FC clash on Saturday afternoon, Harper can be quoted on the broadcast “I’m hearing news that Dwight Yorke has parted ways with Macarthur”.
Twitter user @scout_aussie has since confirmed the news that Yorke has parted ways with the football club.

The Bulls are currently sixth on the ladder in the A-Leagues, with Yorke capturing the side’s first ever trophy, the 2022 Australia Cup.
Macarthur narrowly lost 1-0 to Adelaide United last night at Coopers Stadium, having lost three of their last four fixtures.
