Denzel Dumfries pieced together another electrifying performance to help Inter Milan squeeze past Barcelona in the Champions League semi-finals.
Speaking to Sky Sport via FCInterNews, the Dutchman admitted he doesn’t care about Inter’s potential opposition in the final.
After winning a ‘Man of the Match’ award at Montjuic last week, Denzel Dumfries returned to haunt Barcelona again.
Though he didn’t score a brace this time, his contribution was essential.
Indeed, he first set up Lautaro Martinez for Inter’s opener.
Then, he assisted Francesco Acerbi for a last-gasp equalizer that took the game to extra time.
Davide Frattesi emerged as Inter’s hero with a decisive extra-time strike, but Dumfries was the architect of this epic success.
It’s fair to say he embodied the relentless spirit and determination that propelled Inter to the final.
Meanwhile, Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain will lock horns in the second leg of the other semi-final.
However, Dumfries doesn’t care who will progress as he insists Inter remain focused on lifting the crown.

“A nine out of ten performance? Yes, it was incredible,” Dumfries said after the match. “Thirteen goals over two matches is unbelievable. I’m proud to be in this final.
“For me, these were two great games. I worked hard for the team and suffered. I’m very proud, I did everything to win.”
Asked whether he has any preference on the potential opposition in the showpiece event, Dumfries replied: “We’ll see tomorrow.
“PSG and Arsenal are both very strong, but we want to win.”
Les Parisiens boast better chances of reaching the final for the first time since 2019/20.
Indeed, they toppled Arsenal 1-0 in North London and will aim to get the job done at the Parc des Princes.
Nonetheless, whoever reaches the final will face a formidable challenge as Inter consolidated their continental credentials tonight.
