On the international stage, Kop has been capped by The Netherlands on seven occasions at senior level. She was a member of the Dutch squad which featured at the FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia and New Zealand 2023.

After joining Leicester City, Kop said “It feels great to be here, and it feels like home already. I wanted to have new experiences within my career, and I feel like this move came at the right time. I spoke to Willie [Kirk] and I felt good right away.

“The ambitions of the Club are great and that was a big part of the move for me. I want to work towards those ambitions and be part of it. I hope the WSL will make me a better player and hopefully, I can help the team with my experience.”

Kop becomes Leicester City’s sixth signing of the summer transfer window.
