Foster’s Durham career is going from strength-to-strength and the club have now moved to retain her services for an extended period.

After signing on again with The Wildcats, Foster said “I’m really excited to be here and keep contributing to the club.

“It’s never easy being away from home, but the North East is quite similar to New Zealand in many ways. The people are great and so are my teammates – they’re a big reason why I wanted to stay and sign-on with Durham.

“What Durham has grown here with the fans is really important, especially for an independent women’s club. It really showed in the home games where they pushed us through.”

Foster is the third player to sign a new contract with Durham during the close season.
