The Wildcats announced the news via a post on their official club website this afternoon.
The 28-year-old is a Durham legend and she very much has blue and white in her blood. Hepple is the club’s all-time record appearance-holder with 272 appearances while she is one goal short of a century. The player has been with Durham since the very start in the women’s senior game having initially impressed at grassroots level.
Hepple has been instrumental in promotion pushes, giant-killings and much more over the years. Fans will therefore be thrilled to learn that she will stay with the club again this season.
After signing her new contract, Hepple said “It’s an exciting time for the club, I’m excited to get back and get going.
“I’m really grateful to the club, for giving me the opportunity for all these years and hopefully we can repay the club back.”
Hepple will be hoping to help Durham mount another push for promotion this season. The Wildcats have long-term aspirations of reaching the Barclays Women’s Super League and the 2025/2026 campaign will see additional promotion opportunities offered.
