WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Wildcats this evening.
The 25-year-old moves to Maiden Castle after leaving former club Ipswich Town earlier this summer.
Addison has enjoyed plenty of success in her career to date. She was a member of the Tottenham Hotspur side that were promoted to the Barclays Women’s Super League in 2018/2019 while she helped establish the North Londoners in the top tier. After four years with Spurs, Addison helped fuel promotion bids at Charlton Athletic before winning the FA Women’s National League Southern Premier Division title with Ipswich Town last term.
The winger will be hoping to enjoy another promotion push with new club Durham this season.
After signing on with The Wildcats, Addison said “It feels good to be here.
“Durham are obviously a strong side and I look forward to working with them this season. They’re a strong, established team and have been for many years. Playing against them has always been tough, so that appealed to me. The WSL is expanding so we’re looking to do some big things this season.
“I’m very excited to meet the fans – Durham have got a massive fanbase and every time I’ve played here it’s been packed.”
Addison is Durham’s third signing of the summer transfer window.
