SOUTHERN PREMIER DIVISION

Rugby Borough moved five points ahead of fourth-placed Oxford United, whom they beat with second-half goals by Lily Greenslade and Katy Morris

Billericay Town had to come from behind to beat Chatham Town, Holly Turner Maddie Biggs and Ella Houghton turning the game around before the break. Biggs went on to complete a hat-trick, with Ruby Sealey also on target. While Billericay moved up two places to eighth, Chatham are now ten points from safety.

MK Dons rose to fifth place when defeating London Bees, who now need at least 13 points from six games to have a hope of avoiding the drop. Rhianne Rush put the Dons ahead when following up Lily Dolling’s blocked effort, Abbie Bensted hit the bar foir the Bees from 25 yards but Adekite Fatuga-Dada came off the bench in the dying minutes to quickly double the lead.

DIVISION 1 NORTH

Durham Cestria went third by holding leaders Middlesbrough to a goalless draw, Boro had a goal in the final 20 minutes ruled out for offside and then forced a couple of late saves from Anna King. The result probably favours other title-chasers in Barnsley WFC and Hull City, who both have games in hand.

Norton climbed to eighth spot with victory at Chester le Street, who remain in the bottom two. Sophie Hodgson’s opener was added to by Bianca Owens in stoppage-time.

DIVISION 1 SOUTH EAST

Ashford Town P-P AFC Wimbledon Cambridge United 2-1 AFC Sudbury (Att: 73) Queens Park Rangers P-P London Seaward

Cambridge United beat AFC Sudbury to got fifth in the table, their visitors stay one point above the relegation zone. Charlotte Gillies gave United a half-time advantage, Aliyat Lambe levelled but Bella Simmons grabbed the winner for the hosts.
