The Wildcats announced the news via a post on their official club website this morning.
It has been reported that Olivia Bramley, Carly Johns, Dee Bradley, Kaila Novak, Eleanor Ryan-Doyle, Rylee Foster and Abby Holmes are all leaving Maiden Castle.
Full-back Holmes is the most high-profile departure with the player having represented Durham over two spells. Tough-tackling midfielder Bradley has also turned out for The Wildcats over several seasons. Her committed performances in the middle of the park have resulted in her becoming a favourite of the Durham fans.
Midfielder Bramley and forward Ryan-Doyle have made solid contributions to the team over the last two campaigns. The former spent the second half of this season on loan at Durham’s Barclays WSL2 rivals Portsmouth. Johns, Novak and Foster were all new faces at the club in 2024/2025 and are moving on after spending less than a year in the North East.
In other squad news, club legend Sarah Robson and youngster Lily Crosthwaite are in negotiations with the club over their futures.
Further squad news will be revealed by Durham in due course.
