In his first start for Inter, the wing-back provided two assists and was a constant thorn down the right side.
Dumfries said, "I'm very happy, it was a good game after the defeat to Real Madrid we needed to bounce back. We did a really good job as a team, it was a good game.
“I need to go and attack, to make the field as wide as possible. It's my first start, but I feel good with my teammates, they give me a warm welcome, help me a lot and I am happy to be here."
Dumfries was brought in to replace Achraf Hakimi, now of PSG, and he added: “He did a very good job last year! I am very proud to be here, it's a wonderful club, beautiful fans and I'm so happy."
