Drogba: Hazard is a Chelsea legend - even if he leaves this summer

Didier Drogba believes Eden Hazard should be considered a Chelsea legend – even if he leaves the club this summer.

Hazard has just one-year left on his current deal and continues to be linked with Real Madrid, his self professed “dream club”.

However, Drogba believes the 28-year-old will have achieved enough at Stamford Bridge to be considered a crucial figure in their history.

“Hazard is a legend regardless of what happens,” he told Goal. “Look at what he achieved in six years at the club.

“He is someone who has got very high expectations of himself and his team-mates because he wants to win.

“He won the league twice, won the FA Cup, won Player of the Year. We are talking about Eden Hazard. Please!”

The club remain in talks with Hazard over a new contract, but will demand €100m should they decide to sell this summer.
